The bold design decisions of our clients at Jersey Street made this project a challenging yet all the more rewarding build. While the front of home remains recognizable from its 1910 framework, the back is indistinguishable from its previous state. Modern and angular, the North side of the house opens each level’s backside to the outdoors. A corner glass pop-out in the master bedroom floats the room over the main floor deck – a dramatic effect from both inside and out.
At its finish, key features such as the fantastic Perla Venata Stone Countertop and the colorful Heath Ceramics tile mural in the powder room bring immense character to the home’s interior. These daring choices complement the more subdued details, such as the frameless stairs, which add a totally modern flair to the upgraded Noe Valley Victorian.
